Refund Policy

Customer Refund Information

Refund Policy

At MemoVPS Store, we aim to provide VPS hosting services that match the specifications selected at checkout. This Refund Policy explains when a refund may be available, which situations are generally not eligible, and how to submit a refund request.

Please review this policy before placing an order. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Refund Policy Overview

VPS hosting involves allocating computing resources and may involve setup, licensing, network, and infrastructure costs. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the reason for the request, the status of the service, the time of the request, and applicable law.

For an eligible first-time VPS purchase, you may request a refund within 72 hours after provisioning has been marked complete, subject to the conditions in this policy.

This 72-hour period is a voluntary refund window for qualifying purchases. It does not remove rights or remedies that apply when a service is not delivered, materially differs from the order, is defective, or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under applicable law or payment-provider rules.

Important: Submitting a request does not automatically mean a refund is approved. We will review the order and the reason for the request, explain the outcome, and process any approved refund through an appropriate payment method.

2. Cases That May Qualify for a Refund

A refund may be available in the following situations, depending on the circumstances and applicable requirements.

Eligible First-Time Purchase

A refund may be requested within 72 hours after provisioning is marked complete for the customer's first qualifying VPS order, provided the request meets this policy's conditions.

VPS Not Successfully Provisioned

If we are unable to provision the VPS you paid for because of an issue on our side and cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you may qualify for a refund for the affected order.

Material Configuration Mismatch

If the delivered VPS materially differs from the specifications confirmed in your order, contact us with the order details so we can verify the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy.

Duplicate or Incorrect Charge

If you were charged twice for the same order or charged an incorrect amount, contact support. Verified duplicate or incorrect charges will be reviewed for correction or refund.

Persistent Technical Failure

If a material technical problem attributable to our service prevents normal use and cannot be reasonably resolved, we will assess the issue and determine an appropriate remedy under this policy and applicable law.

Other Legally Required Remedies

We will review other refund or compensation requests where a remedy is required by applicable law, a binding agreement, or a valid payment-provider decision.

We may ask for reasonable supporting information, such as an order number, a description of the issue, relevant error messages, or screenshots that do not expose passwords or sensitive payment credentials.

3. Cases That Generally Do Not Qualify

Subject to mandatory legal rights and the exceptions described in this policy, the following situations generally do not qualify for a refund under the voluntary 72-hour first-order window:

  • Renewals: renewal charges for an existing VPS service.
  • Upgrades or add-ons: additional resources, configuration changes, or add-on services already applied or delivered.
  • Requests outside the voluntary refund window: requests submitted after the applicable 72-hour period where no other refund entitlement applies.
  • Change of mind: the VPS matches the confirmed order, but the customer no longer wants or needs the service.
  • Customer configuration issues: problems caused by customer-installed software, incompatible applications, incorrect server configuration, or changes made by the customer.
  • Customer-side network or device issues: connectivity problems caused by the customer's device, internet provider, local network, or other systems outside our reasonable control.
  • Policy violations: suspension or termination resulting from a verified material breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, except where a refund is required by law or otherwise applicable.
  • Third-party software or license costs: costs already incurred or paid to third parties that are not refundable, where the relevant charges and restrictions were disclosed before purchase and applicable law permits the exclusion.
These exclusions are not absolute. We will assess the facts of each case and will not rely on this section to deny a refund, correction, or other remedy that is required by applicable law or a binding payment-provider decision.

4. First-Order Refund Conditions

The voluntary 72-hour refund window is intended for a customer's first qualifying VPS purchase from MemoVPS Store.

  • The request must be submitted within 72 hours after the VPS provisioning completion time recorded for the order.
  • The order must be paid and identifiable in our order records.
  • The request must relate to the first qualifying VPS purchase for that customer.
  • We may verify the order and review the stated reason before deciding whether the request qualifies.
  • The voluntary refund window does not automatically apply to subsequent orders, renewals, upgrades, or add-ons.

We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify the purchase or investigate suspected fraud or abuse. We will handle such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these conditions limits a customer's mandatory legal rights or the ability to raise a legitimate payment dispute.

5. How to Request a Refund: Step by Step

Please follow the steps below so we can identify your transaction and review the request efficiently.

Step 1 — Review Your Order

Check your order confirmation, VPS specifications, billing period, payment amount, and provisioning status. Identify the specific issue for which you are requesting a refund.

Step 2 — Contact Support

Visit our Contact Us page and submit a refund request. Use the email address associated with your order where possible so we can verify the transaction.

Step 3 — Include the Required Details
  • Your order number.
  • The email address used for the purchase.
  • The payment date and transaction reference, if available.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Relevant error details or screenshots, if the request concerns a technical issue.

Never include your account password, full card number, card security code, or other sensitive payment credentials.

Step 4 — Allow Us to Review the Request

We will review the order, provisioning status, payment record, and information provided. We may contact you if clarification or reasonable supporting evidence is needed.

Our target is to respond within 24 business hours. Complex technical or payment-provider investigations may require additional time, and we will communicate when further review is needed.

Step 5 — Receive the Decision

We will inform you whether the request is approved, declined, or requires further information. If a request is declined, we will provide the reason where reasonably possible.

Step 6 — Refund Processing

For an approved request, we will initiate the refund through the original payment method where reasonably possible. The time for the funds to appear depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.

6. Refund Method and Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally sent through the original payment method where reasonably possible. We may need to coordinate with the relevant payment provider to process or verify a transaction.

  • We will confirm when an approved refund has been initiated, where confirmation is available.
  • The payment provider or financial institution may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.
  • Currency conversion, exchange-rate differences, or bank processing rules may affect the final amount received.
  • We cannot guarantee the exact time a third-party provider or bank will take to post a refund.

If a refund has been approved but does not appear after the provider's stated processing period, contact us with your order number so we can help investigate.

7. Service Cancellation Is Separate from a Refund

Requesting cancellation and requesting a refund are two different actions.

Cancellation generally prevents future renewal when processed according to the applicable billing arrangement. It does not automatically refund a payment already made or charges for a period that has started.

If you no longer need your VPS, contact support or use the available account cancellation process. If you also believe that you qualify for a refund, state that clearly in your request.

Before a VPS is terminated, download important files and maintain independent backups. Data may become inaccessible or be deleted after termination according to the service's applicable retention arrangements.

8. Payment Disputes and Customer Rights

We encourage customers to contact MemoVPS Store first so we can investigate billing errors, provisioning issues, or other service concerns and try to resolve them directly.

If your payment was made through PayPal or another payment provider, you may also have access to that provider's dispute or complaint process, subject to its applicable rules and eligibility requirements.

This policy does not remove or restrict your right to raise a legitimate dispute, report an unauthorized transaction, or seek a remedy available under applicable law or the payment provider's terms.

Please provide accurate information when reporting a payment issue. We will also provide relevant order and service records when reasonably necessary to investigate the matter.

9. Policy Abuse and Fraud Prevention

We may investigate requests that contain inconsistent order information, duplicate claims, suspected payment fraud, or evidence of misuse of the refund process.

Where there is a reasonable basis to suspect fraud or abuse, we may request additional verification or take proportionate action consistent with our Terms of Service and applicable law.

We will not treat a good-faith complaint or a legitimate request to exercise a customer's legal rights as policy abuse merely because a refund is requested.

10. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes to our services, billing arrangements, operational processes, or legal requirements.

The updated policy will be published on this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or apply changes in a manner that preserves existing legal rights.

The policy applicable to a particular order will be interpreted alongside the order confirmation, the terms presented at purchase, and any mandatory legal requirements.
