SERVICE RULES & SECURITY

Acceptable Use Policy

MemoVPS Store provides VPS hosting services for lawful websites, applications, development environments, and other legitimate computing needs. This Acceptable Use Policy explains the activities permitted on our services and the conduct that is prohibited.

By purchasing or using a MemoVPS Store VPS, you agree to comply with this policy, our Terms of Service, applicable laws, and relevant third-party service requirements. Violations may result in restrictions, suspension, or termination of services.

1. Scope and Application

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all VPS hosting services and related resources provided by MemoVPS Store through www.memovps.site.

It applies to customers, account holders, authorized users, and anyone using resources made available through a customer's VPS. Customers are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service. If a specific service agreement imposes additional restrictions, those restrictions may also apply.

2. Permitted Use

Subject to this policy, the applicable service plan, and relevant laws, customers may use their VPS for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Hosting websites, blogs, and online stores.
  • Running web applications, APIs, and business software.
  • Development, testing, and educational projects.
  • Operating databases and permitted backend services.
  • Deploying authorized software and supported server environments.

All activities must remain within the allocated service limits and must not compromise the security, stability, or availability of our infrastructure or other networks.

3. Illegal Activities and Prohibited Content

You must not use our VPS hosting services to conduct, promote, facilitate, or conceal unlawful activity. Prohibited uses include:

  • Hosting, distributing, or facilitating content that is illegal under applicable law.
  • Fraud, scams, deceptive business practices, or impersonation intended to mislead others.
  • Phishing pages, credential theft, payment-data theft, or unauthorized collection of sensitive information.
  • Distributing malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious scripts, or other harmful software.
  • Hosting or distributing child sexual abuse material or other unlawful exploitative content.
  • Threats, targeted harassment, unlawful doxxing, or other abusive activity prohibited by applicable law.
  • Violating applicable sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions.

We may review credible reports of prohibited activity and take appropriate action based on the evidence, the circumstances, and applicable legal requirements.

4. Network Security and Unauthorized Access

You must not use our services to compromise, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any computer, server, network, account, or communication system.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Launching, coordinating, or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Attempting unauthorized access through brute-force attacks, credential stuffing, exploitation, or similar methods.
  • Scanning or testing systems that you do not own or have explicit authorization to assess.
  • Interfering with other customers, upstream providers, network operations, or infrastructure security.
  • Operating botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or services intended to control compromised systems.
  • Forging network identifiers, email headers, or other information to conceal or misrepresent the origin of abusive traffic.
  • Bypassing security controls, access restrictions, or technical limits without authorization.

Security testing must be limited to systems for which you have appropriate authorization and must not violate our infrastructure rules or applicable third-party policies.

5. Spam, Email Abuse, and Messaging

You must not use our VPS services to send, distribute, or facilitate unsolicited bulk communications or deceptive messages.

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email, spam, or abusive automated messages.
  • Operating open mail relays or other services that enable unauthorized mass messaging.
  • Sending phishing emails, fraudulent promotions, or messages with deceptive sender information.
  • Harvesting email addresses or personal information for unauthorized or abusive messaging.
  • Continuing abusive email activity after receiving a credible complaint or service restriction.

Legitimate email services must comply with applicable laws, authentication requirements, recipient-consent rules, and the requirements of relevant email and network providers.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Customers must have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for the software, media, files, and other content hosted or distributed through their VPS.

You must not use our services to distribute pirated software, infringing media, unauthorized copies, or other material that violates intellectual property rights.

Copyright complaints may be submitted in accordance with our DMCA Policy. We may investigate credible reports and restrict or remove access to material where required by applicable law or justified under our service policies.

7. Resource Usage and Service Integrity

Customers must use CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth, and other allocated resources in accordance with their selected VPS plan and applicable service limits.

You must not:

  • Deliberately interfere with the performance or availability of infrastructure or services used by other customers.
  • Attempt to bypass allocated resource limits, billing controls, or technical restrictions.
  • Use storage or bandwidth to distribute prohibited content or facilitate abusive activity.
  • Exploit system vulnerabilities or provisioning errors to obtain unauthorized resources.
  • Run processes that create unreasonable operational risks or violate applicable upstream-provider requirements.

Resource-intensive workloads, including cryptocurrency mining, must comply with applicable law, the purchased plan, and any relevant infrastructure restrictions. Activities that materially affect service stability or violate provider requirements may be restricted.

8. Open Proxies and Abusable Network Services

Customers must not operate open proxies, open mail relays, open recursive DNS resolvers, or similar publicly accessible services in a manner that enables abuse, unauthorized access, traffic amplification, or violations of applicable network policies.

Network services must be appropriately secured, access-controlled, and configured to prevent unauthorized third-party use.

9. Customer Security Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for managing and securing their VPS environments, including where root or administrator access is provided.

Customers should:

  • Use strong passwords and secure authentication methods.
  • Install security updates and maintain supported software versions.
  • Configure firewalls and restrict unnecessary network access.
  • Protect credentials, API keys, and other confidential information.
  • Maintain independent backups of important data.
  • Investigate suspicious activity and respond to credible abuse notifications.

MemoVPS Store does not guarantee that every customer-managed system will remain free from vulnerabilities, compromise, or unauthorized access.

10. Payment and Account Integrity

Customers must provide accurate account and billing information and use payment methods they are authorized to use.

You must not:

  • Use stolen payment details or unauthorized payment methods.
  • Submit materially false information to obtain services or bypass verification.
  • Manipulate billing systems, exploit payment errors, or obtain services through deception.
  • Use our services to facilitate transactions involving prohibited or unlawful goods or services.
  • Misuse payment disputes, refund processes, or chargebacks in a fraudulent manner.

Payments and transactions must comply with applicable law and the terms and acceptable-use requirements of the relevant payment providers. Nothing in this policy limits any rights available under applicable consumer-protection law or payment-provider rules.

Depending on the circumstances, actions may include:

  • Requesting clarification or additional information.
  • Issuing a warning or requesting corrective action.
  • Restricting specific functionality or network traffic.

  • Terminating a service or account for serious, unlawful, or repeated violations.

Serious security threats, credible reports of illegal activity, or urgent risks to people, systems, or networks may require immediate restrictions without prior notice where permitted by applicable law. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to respond.

Any refund following enforcement will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, the applicable service agreement, and mandatory legal requirements.

13. Third-Party Services

Customers may use third-party software, networks, APIs, and platforms with their VPS. Such use remains subject to the applicable third-party terms, licenses, and policies.

MemoVPS Store is not responsible for independently operated third-party services. Customers must ensure that their use of those services is lawful and properly authorized.

14. Policy Updates

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy to reflect changes in our services, security practices, operational requirements, or applicable laws. Updated terms will be published on this page, with an effective date added where appropriate.

Continued use of our services after an update takes effect is subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
